With the development of the mobile phone industry, cameras have become the standard of smart phones, and a single camera has been unable to take daily photos. Often a mobile phone integrates ultra-wide-angle, macro, and telephoto lenses.

But the world is so big that there are mobile phones without cameras. According to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications, the 4G mobile phones listed in our country in the second quarter of 2022 accounted for 80.9% of the rear camera models, and the front-facing camera models accounted for 61.9%.

Of course, mobile phone manufacturers do not make mobile phones without cameras for fun. The original intention is to facilitate those who can no longer use cameras in the workplace, such as confidential workshops.

from the change curve in 2016, the proportion of 4G mobile phones without cameras in 2020 has increased significantly, and this is also the year of the outbreak of 5G mobile phones.

this reason is that the mobile phone manufacturers we are familiar with have given up 4G mobile phones to fight 5G, and there are only a few new 4G machines on the market, which has led to a significant increase in the proportion of camera-free 4G models.
