On August 10th, according to the latest research by Jeff Pu, an analyst at investment firm GF Securities, the price of the iPhone 17 series in the US market is "likely" to be higher than that of the iPhone 16 series.

Pu pointed out in this week's research report that this potential price increase is mainly due to the United States imposing tariffs on products imported from iPhone assembly countries such as China and India.

It is worth mentioning that due to the launch of the new iPhone 16 machine, the price of the iPhone 15 continued to decline. According to authoritative technology media reports, the iPhone 15 sold for only 239 yuan in the latest phase of the auction [www.paiyide.net], setting a new low price since the launch of the machine. According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple's iPhone imported from China are currently subject to a 20% tariff, while imports from India are not subject to tariffs. However, the Trump administration's tariff policy has been changing frequently, which also adds uncertainty to future price trends.
