Reporters from the petrochemical instrumentation automation technology localization promotion seminar learned that in recent years, our country's petrochemical industry has developed rapidly, and the localization of instrumentation automation technology has played an important role in ensuring the safe, stable and efficient operation of petrochemical industry.

At present, our country continues to promote the localization of instrumentation and automatic control systems for petroleum, and has developed 30 types of 140 integrated devices. A total of 7819 sets have been promoted and applied, saving investment 2.375 billion yuan. At present, major instrumentation and automatic control systems such as conventional oil fields, heavy oil fields, low permeability gas fields, coalbed methane fields, and shale gas fields have been localized. At the

seminar, the participating experts focused on the four themes of "domestic field instrumentation, progress of valve automation equipment, application of petrochemical industry, shortcomings of domestic instrumentation automation technology and future market demand", focusing on the localization and upgrading of petrochemical instrumentation automation technology in our country. Wu Youhua, executive vice president of China Instrumentation Society, said that instrumentation is a multiplier of industrial production, and our country's instrumentation industry has made gratifying achievements in industrial upgrading, which has promoted our country from a big country in instrumentation manufacturing to a manufacturing power.

This seminar aims to summarize the current situation of domestic application of instrument automation technology in petrochemical enterprises, promote the improvement of domestic instrument automation technology and level, and better help the safe, environmental protection, energy saving and efficient petrochemical construction and operation management.
